{"id":1034,"date":"2025-09-30T13:08:56","date_gmt":"2025-09-30T13:08:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sgddakademi.org.tr\/etkinlik\/migration-technology-and-research-methods-workshop\/"},"modified":"2025-11-18T11:41:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-18T11:41:10","slug":"migration-technology-and-research-methods-workshop","status":"publish","type":"etkinlik","link":"https:\/\/sgddakademi.org.tr\/en\/etkinlik\/migration-technology-and-research-methods-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Migration, Technology, and Research Methods Workshop"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ASAM Academy on Migration organized an online workshop titled \u201cMigration and Technology\u201d on 5 May 2021, consisting of two sessions.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the first session of the workshop, which included sessions on \u201cMigration and Leading-Edge Technologies: Digital Identity and Smart Borders\u201d, \u201cUsing Big Data and Mixed Methods in Migration Studies\u201d, and \u201cMigration Studies from an Interdisciplinary Perspective: Using Computer Engineering Techniques in Migration Studies\u201d, Dr. Eren Emre Korkmaz addressed \u201cdigital identity\u201d and the latest technologies such as \u201csmart borders\u201d and \u201cartificial intelligence\u201d used in the field of migration. <\/p>\n\n<p>The second session of the workshop focused on the use of technology in research methods.
