ASAM Academy on Migration organized its first summer school online on 9–10 and 16–17 August 2021.
The Summer School on “Migration: From Theory to Practice”, attracted great interest from undergraduate and graduate students.
The training program covered topics such as an introduction to migration, migration studies and research methods, migration and working life, and migration and culture & art.
During the summer school, presentations were delivered by experts from international organizations and universities. Participants included representatives from UNHCR, Ankara University, METU, Özyeğin University, Istanbul Bilgi University, ILO, and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.
