ASAM Academy on Migration organized the “International Migration and Nutrition Seminar” on 2 December 2021. The seminar was attended by experts from Istanbul Aydın University, Ryerson University, McMaster University, Oslo Metropolitan University, and the University of Saskatchewan, as well as from the World Food Programme (WFP), UNICEF, the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Presidency of Migration Management.
During the seminar, participants shared experiences from their respective countries regarding nutrition support for refugees and asylum seekers, maternal and child nutrition, migration and dietary habits, and food security.
