The second Introduction to Migration Training, organized by ASAM Academy on Migration, was held on 3-4 May 2023.
On the first day of the training, academics and experts working in the field of migration discussed the history of migration across the world, key theories of migration and sociology, fundamental concepts in asylum law, international protection, temporary protection, asylum, and migration management in Türkiye.
On the second day of the training, the Council of Europe, the European Court of Human Rights, an overview of Turkish judicial decisions on international protection and deportation, statelessness, and working with children and vulnerable groups were discussed in detail.
