Due to its geographical position, Türkiye has been faced with various migration movements
throughout history, including mass influxes, and is among the countries hosting the largest number of refugees in the world.
Based on the necessity of transferring practice into theory related to migration, one of the most important phenomena currently affecting millions of people on a global scale, ASAM, with its experience in the field for a quarter century, established ASAM Academy on Migration on 22 December 2019.
ASAM Academy on Migration aims to contribute to the generation of scientific knowledge on migration, dissemination of information, and unification and transformation of practical and theoretical information by utilizing the knowledge and experience acquired in the field over the years.
